Welcome to Kennington Park Angling Club (KPAC)

We are a local community based club, custodians of the two lakes on the Kennington Park Complex Aveley. Set in now mature ex gravel pits with many trees, shrubs and plenty of wild life. Both lakes are reed lined and contain gravel bars, holes, silty areas, lilly pads and more.

The well maintained, properly constructed swims offer great sport for all types of angler be it a match person, carper, piker or simple pleasure angler. Both lakes are well stocked with something for everyone be it Perch in the autumn, Pike in the winter, Carp in the summer and all year round sport from those stalwarts of Roach Rudd and Bream. We have a good head of tench, a few wonderful Crucian Carp and Ide ( often mistaken for Roach ) together with Chub, Barbel and Eels .

Amenities include parking, bus services in Romford Road and close by Mill Road, disabled swims, local shops if you need some grub and a portaloo for members on the back lake only.

Front Lake

Front lake boasts 27 well constructed pontoons. Two disabled swims, picnic area and this lake is close to the car park. Depth 18 inches to 4ft average with deeper holes, gravel bars, islands and bays.

Back Lake

Back lake boasts 19 well constructed mainly gravel swims. Different size swims accommodate bivies, poles and little nooks and crannies offer intimate fishing between islands or at the end of a spit. Reeds, lilly pads, islands and a hole lot more offer a very different personality to this lake. Depths from

Much further to walk to this lake and it is strictly for MEMBERS ONLY. Access is gained via a keyed gate at the end of a long path with no vehicle access.
